Overview Supervise the restaurant operations and team members. Requires advanced knowledge of specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. May require knowledge of policies and procedures, and the ability to determine a course of action based on these guidelines. This position requires a minimum formal education of an Associate’s degree or certification equivalent and a minimum of three years job-related experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs human resource functions for staff, including scheduling, training, and motivating. Helps create and implement food and beverage policies, procedures, and standards. Holds daily stand up meetings with the team to ensure daily understanding of operations. Holds monthly department meetings to communicate out important information to the team. Ensures all employees adhere to the food and beverage standards. Staff accountability including coaching and counseling. Communicates issues, resolves problems, and develops leadership direction. Monitors the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure maximum customer service. Maintains positive and professional relationship with the culinary team with the ability to communicate out the needs as well as feedback. Partners with the purchasing department to ensure proper levels of food and beverage items needed for proper pars. Monthly inventory product counted and logged. Ensures staff utilize “clean as you go” techniques of service. Maintains overall cleanliness of the food service area. Protect the assets of the property. Maintain professional appearance and behavior when in contact with customers and fellow associates. Follow policies and procedures in training manuals and the associate handbook. Always remember our partnership with our clients, fellow associates, and investors to provide quality service and maintain profitability. Establish self-improvement goals by staying current with necessary training requirements for this position. Practice the principles of Be the Difference culture.
