Located in tower 402, FYR is our signature live fire restaurant led by Executive Chef Sebastian La Rocca. Recently earning a spot on USA Today’s ‘Restaurants of the Year 2024’ list, FYR represents the metaphorical hearth of downtown Columbus with the centerpiece of the kitchen being a wood-fired grill. The use of fire & smoke is incorporated into most dishes to bring the historical ritual of cooking over an open flame tableside.

What will I be doing?

\n

A Restaurant Supervisor, will be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nSupervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations\nMonitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance\nSupport and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards\nManage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly\nAssist in monitoring inventory and inventory control\n
