We are searching for a Floor Maintenance Technician to join our community that is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job is maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the facility.\n

Minimum Qualifications:\n\nMust possess, as a minimum, high school diploma or equivalent.\nTwo (2) years housekeeping\/floor maintenance experience in a medical facility, preferred.\n\n

Major Duties\/Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure that work\/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.\nCoordinate daily housekeeping\/floor services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and\/or recreational areas.\nOn a daily basis, clean all areas of the facility assigned.\nAdhere to all facility sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.\nReport any maintenance problems noted during cleaning routine.\nKeep equipment clean.\n\n

Specific Requirements:\n\nMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.\nMust possess the ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism. \nMust possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies\/personnel, and the general public.\nMust maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas.\n\n
