**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** **EXPERIENCED FLOOR TECH NEEDED** The floor technician position provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The floor technician may be responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning. Also responsible for using safety measures in work areas. The floor technician may be asked to assist with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned. **Equipment Used:** IMOP, Kaivac, Scrubber T500 & T300, Backpack & Upright Vacuums, Carpet Extractor (large self contained), and Side by Side Orbital Scrubber/Buffer. **Location:** Driving to cover different areas. You need your own transportation. **Shift:** 6pm-2:30am M-F + some weekends **Pay:** $16.00 - $18.00 hourly / Weekly Pay * The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** + 1 Year of similar experience in Floor Care (stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning) + Must have a valid Drivers License and able to pass an MVR. + Must be 18 years of age or older + No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Responsibilities:** + Clean and maintain buildings/facilities + Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures + Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems + Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. + Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities + Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment + Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks + Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees + Wash and replace blinds + Gather and empty trash A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
