1st - 7am-3pm
2nd - 3pm-11pm
3rd - 11pm-7am

Pay - $16 an hour 

Job Description: 
Summary: To operate powdered metal compacting equipment, load and unload furnaces, part inspections, etc.  This position will be responsible for learning a variety of different job duties as back up for absent employees to ensure the quality of manufactured product while maintaining the quality management system making us the better choice for our customer.

Job functions: Properly operate molding presses to produce “green” parts, including understanding machine safety procedures. Load and unload scheduled product on to and off sintering furnace. Safely and efficiently operate powdered metal inspection/assembly equipment and ensure the quality of inspected/assembled product Use appropriate product and materials processing and handling methods in accordance with control plans and other specific instructions. Properly use and care for measuring equipment. Measure product and record (using computerized SPC system or other recording method) and react to in process inspection results using SPC and other process monitoring methods. Visually inspect parts utilizing visual aids and/or other specific instructions. Properly identify product containers, trays, racks and/or pallets for identification and traceability purposes. Properly use material handling equipment. Move completed product to the proper staging area. Properly use ERP system to record labor and production information. Properly use and maintain production and quality documents. Understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Comply with all safety and environmental policies; report observations of unsafe conditions/practices to management. Perform other duties as required. Provide on-the-job training to other operators as required. Establish and maintain cooperative relations with fellow employees and supervisory staff. Qualifications:        High school diploma or equivalent
Physical demands: Ability to continuously stand or walk Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs or ladders and lift frequently Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally Ability to push/pull carts on wheels over 200 pounds Ability to manipulate small hand tools Work environment: Work will be conducted in a production environment. May work in temperatures above 100 degrees in hot summer months. May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. Will climb stairs and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis each shift. Employee is expected to exercise due respect and care to prevent injury to self and others when hazards exist.
