Description:

Reporting to the Director of Acute Care the Clinical Nurse demonstrates applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of med/surg/tele or med/stroke patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Must have availability to work 84 hours in a 6-week schedule.

Plans and manages care of routine patientsEducates patients and familyPlanning continuum of careProviding safe care and ensuring an excellent patient experienceFloating to ED or ICU to care for medical surgical boarding patients

What you will need

Required:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred.  Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame.Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required for float pool nurses.
 

Pay Range: $19.72 – 27.61

Pay is based on experience, skills and education.  Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.  The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
