PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Flightline Tool Shop Attendant to support our Procurement team in Mobile, AL. As the critical link in maintaining the tools and small jigs used for aircraft production, you’ll ensure that our tools are always in top condition, ready to power the aviation industry forward. What You’ll Do: 

As a Flightline Tool Shop Attendant, you’ll be responsible for a variety of functions that ensure the tools used in production are in excellent working condition: 

Tool Shop Operations: Receive, store, and issue tools and chemicals needed for production, maintaining accurate records of all equipment movements. 

Inspection & Maintenance: Visually inspect tools and equipment for wear and defects, ensuring all items are marked, identified, and in good repair. 

Support Calibration: Assist with calibration activities under Quality Assurance (QA) guidance to maintain operational standards. 

Procurement Coordination: Work with local suppliers to validate material orders, confirm availability, and adjust for alternate items and due dates. 

Inventory & Good Receipt: Perform inventory management tasks such as receiving materials, adjusting inventory, and participating in audits. 

Shop Floor Support: Clean aircraft clip tools, kit consumables, and participate in daily production meetings to stay aligned with production needs. 

Your Ideal Background: 

Experience in logistics, tool management, or inventory in a manufacturing environment. 

General knowledge of aviation-related hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools. 

Familiarity with shop safety practices (clean-as-you-go, FOD) and OSHA regulations. 

Experience using data collection programs like SAP and Excel. 

High School Diploma or GED required. 

Physical Requirements: 

Vision: Able to read computer screens, machine controls, and identify equipment for maintenance. 

Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts, conversations, and warning signals. 

Speaking: Engage in conversations and deliver information clearly. 

Carrying & Lifting: Occasionally carry up to 20lbs and lift up to 50lbs. 

Mobility: Ability to walk, stand, squat, kneel, and occasionally travel for business purposes.

Pay Details: $18.50 per hour
