We are looking for a Fleet Technician to join our team!

Important Note: This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.

What You Will Do:

Maintains company vehicles by keeping them well-lubricated, fueled, and cleaned. Performs routine maintenance and repairs on automotive equipment. Assists in servicing automotive electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems and compressed natural gas (CNG) systems. Repairs and maintains construction equipment. Services automotive equipment by lubricating, changing oil, repairing tires, washing, and packing wheel bearings. Assists in mounting vehicle bodies, tool boxes, welding equipment, generators, and compressors. Maintains garage in clean and orderly condition. May perform minor or major maintenance and/or repairs required for proper operations of field compressor units/turbo charges, oil/jacket water pumps, turbines, pumps, and cooling equipment.

Who You Are:

3+ years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair, or one year trade school and one year experience, or equivalent combination.

Knowledge of automotive and construction equipment operation and maintenance.

Knowledge of basic math.

Basic knowledge of NGV conversion technology.

Basic knowledge of CNG compression and dispensing equipment.

Possession of own hand tools.

Skill diagnosing and repairing automotive and construction equipment.

Skill using hand and power tools, such as hoists, saws, wrenches, and hammers.

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Ability to distinguish the nature of sounds to determine if equipment is running correctly.

Ability to respond to emergency conditions, which may include changing flat tires, chaining up vehicles, and operating a two-way radio.

Education Level:

High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):

Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 100 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 100 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement, grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 100 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements (Both field & office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
