Due to ongoing demand for our world leading solutions, and the need to service our valued clients across the region, we are looking for an experienced, full time, Fleet Manager based in Silverwater.

This is a 12-month Maximum Term contract, full-time and hybrid role, working from home and the office.

The role

As Fleet Manager NSW MSCO, you’ll play a critical leadership role in overseeing and optimising the fleet operations supporting Verra Mobility’s NSW Mobile Speed Camera Program. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll manage a fleet of over 100 vehicles, lead a small team, and drive strategies that improve performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure compliance, operational readiness, and continuous improvement, while driving initiatives aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

As an experienced Fleet Manager capable of supporting a critical fleet related operations program you will:

Oversee fleet strategy, vehicle deployment, acquisition, maintenance, leasing, and compliance for the NSW Mobile Speed Camera Program. Lead warranty negotiations, vendor engagement, and procurement initiatives to drive cost efficiencies. Manage registrations, licensing, invoicing, and contract compliance for over 100 vehicles. Track and report on fleet performance, using telematics and data insights to inform operational decisions. Support the Fleet Coordinator with day-to-day activity and help foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and accountability. Coordinate vehicle modifications and installation of technology to meet program specifications. Champion WHS practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Collaborate across departments to support training, compliance, and operational excellence. Maintain supplier and client relationships, ensuring high service standards and proactive communication.

Who are you?

You are an experienced fleet management professional with a proven track record overseeing large-scale operations of 100+ vehicles, including procurement, compliance, scheduling, and maintenance. You bring strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills, backed by expertise in telematics, data analysis, and fleet optimisation. With in-depth knowledge of roadworthiness, logistics, WHS compliance, and sustainability practices, you lead with confidence in fast-paced environments. Known for your sharp attention to detail, sound decision-making, and ability to perform under pressure, you also hold relevant tertiary qualifications, WHS certification, and a full Australian Driver’s License with a strong safety record. You’re fully compliant with employment prerequisites and bring valuable experience in automotive operations and in-vehicle technology installation.
