Flash Layout Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Analog/Mixed Signal Layout Engineer to join our Flash Memory Layout team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in analog layout design, with hands on experience of handling critical analog blocks like charge pumps etc. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in analog layout, a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality layouts for analog circuits.
**JOB Responsibilities:**
+ Design and develop analog layouts for charge pumps and flash array banks along with the required layout verifications needed for signoff like DRC, LVS
+ Good understanding of the DRC checks including High voltage checks.
+ Work closely with analog design engineers to ensure seamless integration of layout and design
+ Develop individual block layout specification based on top level layout requirements. Ensure layouts meet performance, power, and area requirements
+ Own all the aspects pertaining to the layout, this includes but not limited to schedule, planning, tracking and communicating the layout milestones, floorplan, power-plan, constraint management, layout, verification, extraction, drive and attend reviews.
+ Aggressively drive area reduction, metal usage reduction while meeting reliability
+ Work on layout DFM constraints like matching, parasitics, EM, ESD, Latch-up etc and minimize layout dependent effects.
+ Develop and maintain layout scripts and automation tools - aggressively drive productivity improvement initiatives through automation, flow-methodologies improvements, checklists etc.

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
+ 5+ years of experience in custom analog layout design
+ Strong understanding of analog layout design principles
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience/understanding of flash bank and charge pump architectures
+ Proficiency in layout tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso Layout XL/PVS Verification
+ Knowledge of LVS/DRC tools and methodologies.
+ In depth knowledge of CMOS device physics and IC fabrication processes.
+ Familiarity with parasitic extraction tools and techniques.
+ Knowledge of EMIR and ESD/Latch up fundamentals
+ Scripting skills in languages like cadence Skill/ Python or Perl
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills
+ Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
