Fixation Driver
As a Fixation Driver you will be responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste to our landfill for proper disposal. \n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times\nLoads and unloads bulk solid hazardous materials from dump trucks and roll-offs\nPrior to driving transportation equipment, prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order\nMaintains logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance and State and Federal regulations\nDrives between Arcwood locations to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to the next facility for unloading and disposal\nCompletes manifests, bills of lading, Company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed, following all DOT regulations \nEnsure regulatory compliance with hazardous waste (RCRA) and DOT regulations \nClimbs equipment to line boxes or perform other tasks; works with bows, tarps and liners \nMaintains ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including boots, gloves, suits, eye\/ear protection and respirator \nTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization\n\n

Education:\n\nHigh-school diploma or equivalent (required) \n\n

Experience: \n\n1+ years of Class B CDL driving experience (required)\nAbility to drive manual and automatic commercial vehicles (required) \nHazmat endorsement (required) \nTanker endorsement (preferred) \nClass A CDL driving experience (preferred) \n\n

Competencies: \n\nAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner\nExcellent communication skills for interacting with both internal and external customers \nAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator \nAbility to understand RCRA compliance standards, OSHA safety and DOT regulations\nAbility to meet company driving qualifications with a CDL \nAbility to obtain valid endorsements as required\nRegular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role\n\n
