Role Purpose

The Implementation Specialist is the subject matter expert in a specific solution, product and business area. With a wealth of product experience and knowledge, equips fellow team members with on the job training and best practices. Ensuring desirable outcomes for all client implementations, delivered on time and within scope. Influences client solutions designs to produce holistic, simple and relevant solutions that meet clients expectations.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...

Implement and configure Iress products / functionality to match business requirements and in line with business standards / practices.

Escalation point for complicated implementation / support related queries.

Establish best practices of production implementations through detailed and clear documentation.

Providing guidance through mentoring to fellow colleagues.

Strong engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders and teams.

Drive change management at clients to ensure full adoption, utilisation and maximum value of Iress Products.

Thoroughly document each solution and hand over / provide training to client support teams / relevant

stakeholders.

Clear and consistent communications / feedback with stakeholders by means of prescribed processes and tools.

Time management and prioritisation of tasks to maximise productivity.

Increase product / market knowledge applicable to the role. Willingness to share knowledge and experience.

Attention to details and being risk averse when making any change in a production environment.

Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.

All hands on deck approach to severity 1 or 2 incidents.

Windows Server and Microsoft SQL or similar tools

Familiarity with API's such as Web Services, SWIFT, MSMQ

Understanding of FIX protocol

Database Administration Knowledge and experience (SQL/Basic Querying, backup, restore)

Subject Matter Expert in assigned product Suite

IT Proficiency in TCP, IP and Ports, Netstat, Telnet, ping, Trace Processor, Wireshark
