Key Responsibilities:
Examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material, and equipment requirements. Set up and adjust metalworking machines and equipment. Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, Inc. Welding. Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines. Must have a working knowledge of hydraulic systems. Dismantle faulty assemblies and apply corrective action. Repair or replace components. Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies. Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment availability and plant up-time. Requirements:
Trade certification as a Fitter, Red Seal Minimum 5+years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work shifts. Must live in Duncanville , Vereeniging, Meyerton area.
