Responsibilities Serve as a Fitness Facility Manager directing and supervising diverse functions required to operate a fitness facility. Schedule staff and fitness classes. Plan in house events and races. Assist in the development of budgetary and manpower requirements. Oversee the inventory of property and fitness equipment condition. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Possesses directly related work experience in planning, supervising, administering or carrying out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports and guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports. Experience that includes the demonstrated ability to manage and operate complex multiple fitness facilities. Possess a (4) year undergraduate degree 2. Experience with Rectrac or similar Point of Sale system 3. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
