Fiscal Technician

The School of Architecture at the University of Virginia is seeking a Fiscal Technician to join our Finance team. With guidance from a Senior Finance Generalist, this position will support faculty and staff by creating requisitions, enter or audit expense reports, prepare monthly reconciliations and reports, and process payroll costing and accounting adjustments, accounting adjustments and accounting journals. Additionally, this position will manage the central email account for the finance unit.

The School of Architecture, comprised of four interrelated but distinct disciplines, provides a rich setting for professional education, leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture, Architectural History, Landscape Architecture, and Urban and Environmental Planning. Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.Two years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong, working knowledge of excel is strongly preferred.Experience working with financial information preferred.Self-motivated, resourceful, and ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Anticipated hiring range: $25.00 - $25.96/hour ($52,000 - $54,000/year)
