This position will lead the Firstmark Analysts as they deliver value add and risk mitigating solutions for our customers. The team serves a wide variety of Consumer Services clients and operational areas that have differing needs and requirements. Staffing and training to those needs is imperative.Lead, train, retain and develop staff.Set, monitor, and report team goals adjusting and addressing when necessary.Provide one-on-one associate coaching to improve performance.Ensure quality and proper training of associates within the team by monitoring performance and providing formal and informal feedback.Report to management on staffing, production, and budgetary needs.Ensure documentation is accurate.Identify trends and issues submitted and act accordingly.Prioritize and resolve issues that require a higher level of expertise.Ability to communicate and represent Nelnet on calls and in meetings with external clients, potential clients, and other industry peers/partners.Participate in strategy planning and analysis of activities to ensure strategies are effective.Analyze long-term impacts and plans accordingly.Addresses potential changes or improvements.Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines.Lead and participate in Consumer Loans projects.Strive to make a difference through continued self-improvement.Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.Act in place of manager in absence.Act as back up for management functions.Ensure compliance with Federal regulations and departmental policies.

EDUCATION:

4 year college degree preferred, advanced degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

5 years of experience in field or related field or commensurate education, 3 years supervisory or leadership experience.

Nelnet believes in a hybrid work environment that accommodates both in-office and remote work. The standard hybrid work schedule includes a 3/2 (in-office/work-from-home) split for associates that reside within 30 miles of an office. This is subject to change, based on manager discretion.

Starting Annual Salary Range for this Position: $50,000 - $70,000
