Our client, a leading manufacturer of energy management solutions, is currently seeking a Firmware Test Engineer to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Work with project managers, design engineers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test strategiesAnalyze use cases, system, and product specifications to understand system requirements and translate them into test requirements and plansDevelop and execute detailed functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases and scripts based on requirements. Ensure traceability between the test plan, test cases, automation sequences, and requirements. Report test progress and coverage to stakeholdersDocument, report, and help resolve defects, issues, and anomalies using a defect tracking systemSupport the test bench development lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, and maintenanceQualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the integration, verification, and validation of high-voltage electrical products with IoT features or complex systemsExpertise in electrical hardware/firmware testing, including test system design, test automation, test plan development, and debugging hardware/firmware issuesSkilled in using electrical testing equipment (AC/DC power supplies, Keysight CDS, grid emulators, etc.), instrumentation, and software toolsFamiliarity with EV communication standards such as ISO 15118-2/-20, OCPP, and DIN specificationsExperience in the design and development of power electronics products for electric vehicles or V2X applications is advantageousProficient in systems engineering practices and experienced with tools like JAMA, Confluence, and JIRAPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
