We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to design and develop software for low-power wireless devices, focusing on 16/32-bit microcontroller architectures, BLE protocol, and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C/C++, assembler, RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS), and various serial communication protocols like RS-232, I2C, and SPI. You will also participate in hardware design, work closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to manufacturing.

As our Senior Firmware Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
• Designing and developing embedded software for 16/32-bit microcontroller architectures, using C/C++ and assembler, with and without RTOS
• Participating in hardware electrical design, with potential for independently carrying out hardware design
• Developing thoroughly documented software while adhering to coding standards criteria
• Participating in the overall embedded product development design, from conception to manufacturing introduction
• Writing and maintaining design documentation
Your Experience and Background include:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience as firmware development engineer for low power wireless devices
• In-depth understanding of BLE protocol
• Experience with ARM Cortex platform and development tools (additional experience with ARC platform is a significant advantage)
• In-depth experience with various serial communication protocols (RS-232, I2C, SPI, etc.)
• Expertise in utilization of JTAG software tools for low level access to MCU resources
• Experience with leveraging RTOS in very low power embedded development (knowledge of FreeRTOS, Keil RTOS, QPC is an advantage)
• Experience with at least one CAD tool used for electrical and PCB design
