Firewall Rule Implementation (Network Security)

Job description Job Description: Assess the firewall rule implementation requests raised for the office move projects. Assess the requirement of IPS security profile enforcement for the scope of subnets / connections for which flows are opened. We manage 300 over Firewalls (mostly Fortinet but some Check Point) in APAC: successful supplier’s resource will receive the IP insertion Request via Tufin. ( 4 to 5 requests per day) Successful supplier’s resource needs to review the request along with Project team and INET team if the assigned VLAN is as per the assigned business VLAN . Successful supplier’s resource will be using our BNP tool to find the old existing IP/Subnet across the 300 over FW in APAC and needs to insert the new IP/VLAN to the old existing IP/Subnet rules. Successful supplier’s resource needs to prepare an inventory and keep update the Request for this move. Implement the firewall rules for the new office setup across the APAC firewalls (> 300 firewalls) Advise the on the firewall rules implementation across other regions. Troubleshoot the flows that were implemented. Review and complete the risk assessment of the firewall rules coded for the given scope. Advise users / IT teams to raise the required flow by accessing the traffic patterns. Advise the IT infra teams / network team on the network utilization.
