What will you do?
The Fire Products Sales Territory Manager at Siemens is responsible for driving the indirect channel sales of Siemens Fire Products within Ontario (GTA, SWO and Ottawa) and Manitoba, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with existing partners, OEMs, distributors, contractors, and engineers. This important role will also prospect and help onboard new partners to increase Siemens market share. This position emphasizes strategic business planning, account development, and achieving sales targets while providing expert knowledge in fire safety solutions to Siemens indirect sales partners.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing 3rd party channel partners. Prospect for new prospect partners within the third-party channel of the territory. Drive profitable growth through strategic business planning and account development to meet or exceed channel sales targets. Provide strategic business development and onboarding of new partners. Present, promote, and sell Fire Safety solutions to existing and prospective Partners, Contractors, OEMs, Engineers. Develop a proactive response to customer needs and business priorities utilizing Siemens resources, while operating in a time-efficient and organized manner. Monitor sales activity and conduct regular business reviews. Become a trusted advisor and solution provider to our partners by demonstrating industry knowledge and fire safety portfolio expertise. Assist the Product Development team with new product rollouts including training, supporting documents, competitive analysis, test sights, promotions, and all other relevant activities. Perform to plan and drive a 'bottoms up' forecast. Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for overall sales, sales calls, product mix/segmentation, new prospects, training, as well as many other sales metrics.What will you need to succeed? Bachelor/Post Secondary education in Electrical/mechanical engineering / technology or a related field is preferred. 5+ Proven experience in account management and sales. Knowledge and expertise in the Canadian fire safety or related industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market conditions and partner needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent negotiation skills. Proficiency in using CRM systems, especially Salesforce. Ability to build and maintain a network of stakeholders. Competencies: Self-motivated and goal-oriented; collaboration skills. Travel: Willingness to travel within the territory to meet partners and support sales activities. A valid G driver’s license in good standing to participate in the Siemens car program. Asset: bilingual English/French communication skills, both verbal and written.
