Summary The Fire Alarm System Apprentice is responsible for assisting the Fire Alarm System Lead technician with the installation of fire alarm wire and devices. Assist with wire install and verifying wire is free of shorts or grounds. Assist with the installation of Fire Alarm devices. Assist with pre-testing the Fire Alarm System prior to final inspection. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems under the guidance of experienced technicians. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Participate in ongoing training and development programs. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Fire Alarm experience preferred but not required. Strong interest in fire alarm systems and safety. Basic understanding of electrical systems preferred but not required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of fire alarm systems preferred but not required. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
