This senior role is responsible for the daily servicing of a portfolio of Fortune 1000 clients within the FINPRO practice. The Broker provides service & advice associated with placements made or delivered to clients and is involved in negotiations with insurance & risk markets to obtain best terms, conditions, coverage and pricing for a client per risk practice guidelines.

We will count on you to assist/manage:
Placements of Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Errors & Omissions/Professional Liability (E&O/BPL), Fiduciary, Cyber, Wage and Hour (W&H) and related insurance programs into the Bermuda market for Fortune 1000 or similar clients
Client needs, including assessing & developing solutions to complex risk situations
Identification and development of new sources of business
Strategy and the co-ordination of such with other Marsh Offices globally
Analyzing of client exposures and preparation of high-quality submissions to underwriters
Benchmarking and data analytics to assist new sales
Policy management including follow up for policies, review of policy against bound terms & conditions, request for corrections, if any and delivery of reviewed policy to Distribution for delivery to client
Operating with a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients
Keeping abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions
Benchmarks and analyzes new sales
Public speaking/presentations and face-to-face negotiations
Works as a senior member of a team and acts as a role model for less experienced colleagues
What you need to have:
Minimum of 10 years’ FINPRO insurance broking experience in Bermuda or the International insurance market
Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Proven experience to independently handle complex client assignments operating with a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and manage such during busy periods
Willingness and ability to work beyond normal office hours to meet tight deadlines
Superior technical, financial and interpersonal skills, specifically regards written and verbal communication and presentation
Understanding of negotiating techniques & ability to apply these in discussions with insurers and clients
