The Role:

As a FinOps Technical Account Manager at Flexera, you'll be integral to our dynamic Solutions organization, working closely with our Enterprise & Strategic sales teams. You will bring extensive field and/or practitioner experience in the industry, adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights. Your proven track record includes successfully leading complex projects and driving tangible business outcomes for your clients.

In this role, you will take ownership of highly complex and large customer accounts, proactively managing their portfolios to align with their strategic objectives throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Additionally, you'll play a key role in our Cloud Center of Excellence, facilitating collaboration across internal stakeholder groups and functional areas. This collaborative effort ensures our solutions continually evolve to meet the evolving needs of our customers, respond to market trends, and incorporate technological advancements.

The Product:

Flexera One offers a comprehensive approach to FinOps, facilitating collaboration between cloud governance teams and business units to optimize cloud spending. This includes identifying savings opportunities, implementing optimizations, and automating processes across the cloud environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Act as a subject matter expert for Flexera’s Cloud Governance solutionsHelp our top, strategic customers realize quantifiable value and become a referenceIdentify the potential risk of churn and develop strategies to mitigatePartner with sales representatives, solution engineers, architects, and other team members to drive revenue across Enterprise opportunitiesMaximize adoption of Flexera’s products and manage customer escalations (technical and business)Identify stakeholders at the account and establish relationshipsProactively drive new value conversationsKeep the customer informed of relevant news from Flexera (product releases, capabilities, vision, M&A, best practices)Own an enablement and development plan for Customer SuccessLead cross-functional projects of continuous improvement for the companyProvide valuable field insights to product management and engineering teams

Qualifications:

Strong experience in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), with a deep understanding of cloud vendor billing and discount mechanismsFamiliarity with cloud vendor native tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer) and third-party solutions (e.g., Cloudability, CloudHealth)Certified FinOps Practitioner is a plusCertification as a Cloud Solution Architect or equivalent; Azure/Google certification is a plusExperience in working with RESTful APIs, API tools (e.g., Postman), or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plusCustomer-centric mindset with a strong dedication to achieving customer successTechnical influence and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to customers
