Job Description
The Finishing Specialist will be responsible for hand staining rail parts, handrails, plates, and newels. The role involves scanning products through the finishing process, identifying different colors and stains, and at times color matching or creating stains through master samples. The specialist will ensure details are correct, manage daily materials, and handle waste barrels. Additionally, the specialist will assist in sanding flooring, stair treads, stair risers, plates, and newels, operate the Makor machine, run scuffing machines, and clean workstations at the end of the day.
ResponsibilitiesHand stain rail parts, handrails, plates, and newels.Scan products through the finishing process.Identify different colors and stains.Color match or create stains through master samples.Identify and correct details when possible.Retrieve daily material from the inventory control shed.Dispose of full waste barrels in the inventory control shed.Read and understand tags for proper color or product.Assist in sanding flooring, stair treads, stair risers, plates, and newels.Assist on the Makor machine as needed.Operate scuffing machines.Clean workstations at the end of the day with proper cleaning solutions.Perform manual labor such as pushing and pulling carts with products.Essential SkillsExperience in production, general labor, construction, or assembly.Proficiency with hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood problem-solving skills.Good communication skills.Ability to work as a team and self-manage when working alone.Computer literate.Conscientious, hardworking, and detail-oriented.Positive attitude and respect for others.Consistent respect for appropriate attendance and punctuality.Appreciation for a respectful work environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00
