We are currently seeking a Financial Systems Manager to oversee operational use of the company’s financial systems. This team member will identify and/or manage software upgrades, new module and new process implementation projects, and ensure end users are using the system efficiently and effectively. This role will also oversee monthly software updates and any other system updates that require testing, manage all support issues/financial security requests for CloudSuite users, and develop, maintain, and present training/support to end users. Responsibilities Assist supervisor in oversight of Xanterra’s financial systems and integration from/to other company software. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring coordination with all appropriate Xanterra departments to maintain cohesive processing between modules and ensure the ability to report accurate financials. Supervise Financial Systems Analyst roles. Maintain appropriate division of key functions between Manager and Analysts to ensure complete end user support. Ensure cross training is maintained among staff to cover issues during time-off or when workload increases in one area. Manage all EPM reports. Create and maintain reports as needed by users. Cross train Systems Analyst to ensure multiple staff can complete requests as needed. Function as the internal financial project manager for financial system upgrades and maintenance. Work with the functional area managers to determine criteria for reviewing and testing software updates and upgrades. Manage all testing documentation. Assist supervisor in managing all aspects of new financial module and system implementations. Responsibilities include becoming an expert on the new system setup and functionality, learning the business needs for the module, designing the structure and process flow to meet the business needs, and smoothly implementing the system. Also ensure all end-user documentation is written prior to implementation and maintained after implementation. Use expertise of functional area managers to determine if currently unused or new features of the system would be helpful in improving processes. Lead documenting and implementing appropriate changes. Lead resolution of financial system problems as they arise. Use appropriate internal and external resources for support. Ensure adequate documentation is maintained for issue resolution. Oversee development and maintenance of all finance system training materials. Learn tools available and leverage Learning & Development to create documentation. Work directly with functional area managers to ensure content and layout is appropriate. Train new users as appropriate. Manage all Lawson financial system security requests from operations. This includes submitting requests timely to IT using proper terminology to ensure accurate changes are made, identifying when new roles are needed, and working with SCM to ensure cross functional roles are appropriate. Assist with creation of system automation to improve processes, including macro-based uploads from Excel and other available features. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience leading and developing a team 2-4 years leading or actively participating in system implementations Cloudsuite FSM, Infor EPM, Mi9, and/or Concur knowledge a plus Strong communication skills and ability to train effectively in both in-person and remote environments Strong Excel skills, including macros Knowledge of financial accounting principles (GAAP) COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 based on experience.
