Financial Reporting Analyst – SAP Implementation
Overview The Financial Reporting Analyst position will be responsible for providing support leading up to and during the system transition to SAP S4 HANA for the Quaker Canada business. This transition will include an interim state where the business will be operating in parallel in both the legacy system and SAP. Support during the transition and interim state will include master data governance, account reconciliations, intercompany reporting, corporate reporting and consolidation, and ad hoc support to ensure the integrity of our financial statements is maintained throughout the transition. Please note - this is an 8-month contract opportunity. Reconciliation of key accounts including Intercompany and A/P during and after the transition Ensuring local business results are accurately reported through our consolidation system (Group Reporting & Hyperion Financial Management) Compiling and analyzing information for monthly financial close process during interim state Supporting with master data maintenance including GL and cost center setup Ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements Ad Hoc support for the Financial Reporting team as required. Qualifications Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Excel required. Excellent analytical and strong communication skills Experience using SAP (preferably S4 HANA) is a requirement. Experience using HFM and MFGPro a plus. Ability to work independently handling multiple priorities simultaneously. Aptitude to quickly analyze data, assess issues and risks and propose recommendations.
