The Financial Reporting Analyst IV is responsible for the accurate and timely generation and distribution of all financial statements and reports to both internal and external users.

What you will be doing Prepare the most complex and high-risk monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial reports, GAAP and pro forma, applying expertise and significant best practice knowledgeProvide leadership, vision and direction for the most complex financial reviewsManage and provide support to management, legal and external auditors; assign work to the team and ensure successful completionIdentify relevant, new accounting standards; ensure successful implementation of the new guidance and communicate impact of the new guidance to senior leadership and others within accounting & financeResearch, prepare and deliver the most complex accounting disclosures and presentationsEvaluates various financial opportunities, such as due diligence of acquisitions and mergersManage and identify the completeness and relevancy of policies and procedures related to financial reporting; address gaps in documentation and ensure such policies and procedures remain currentIdentify, research and resolve the most complex financial reporting issues; work with internal and external auditors and consultants to properly document conclusionsCreate and maintain reports in financial reporting systemsOperate as an innovative thought leader and independently implement effective and successful changes to processes or methodologyMentor, coach and train other team membersComply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security PolicyWhat will make you successful Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceSignificant experience in public accounting or corporate reporting, managing the most complex and high risk situationsSignificant experience applying knowledge of GAAP, financial statements and internal controlsProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactHighly organized and experienced at successfully multi-taskingDemonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightnessExcellent critical thinking and problem solving skillsExcellent collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasDetail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracyDemonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiencesExperience providing guidance and support to developing team membersUp to 10% travel time requiredOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
Based on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $84,000-$120,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits
