Hovnanian is looking for an individual who is a self-starter, have strong communication and time management skills, is detail oriented and work well in a team environment.  The Financial Planning Specialist will prepare business units financial projections and measure accuracy of projections against actual financial performance.  In addition, this role will be responsible for the following:

• Perform detailed analyses
• Run monthly proformas to project future profitability and cash flow needs
• Participate in monthly Land Development meetings

In addition, the Financial Planning Specialist will prepare tri-annual financial plans and required information for the Monthly Area Operating Statistics Report.   If you are eager to work with a great team, we want to hear from you.

Job Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred from a four-year college or university
• 2-4 years of related experience

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Oracle’s Financial Analyzer software
• Exemplary organization skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
