As a Financial Planning Application Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing our Enterprise Planning and Management applications in modern cloud-based OLAP environments. Your role will also involve improving complementary systems and optimizing data integrations to drive efficiency and performance. Your responsibilities will include: Identify opportunities to enhance business processes through application solutions and data integrations. Partner with domain experts to understand planning needs and develop effective solutions. Administer and support the Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution to ensure reliable service. Maintain system documentation, including requirements, designs, and user guides. Provide first-line user support, troubleshooting challenges, and offering training. Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you... Possess a Bachelor's degree or professional IT-related work experience. Have 4+ years of experience developing or supporting EPM Hyperion/Essbase solutions in an enterprise environment. Demonstrate working knowledge of modern software development practices. Have experience gathering and analyzing business process requirements. Have the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to detail and to work both in a team environment and independently. Possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers to assess issues and provide resolution. Are willing to work the occasional weekend and/or after-hours as required to meet urgent project/work-related business needs. You 'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you... Have experience working with solutions using: Hyperion Planning, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution, EPM Automate, FDMEE, Groovy, VBA. Have experience working with project planning and financial management applications, particularly in a government contracting environment. Have experience designing and supporting data integrations with EPM Automate and PowerShell. Have ORACLE PL/SQL coding experience. The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
