The Opportunity:

Avantor seeks a motivated and experienced Financial Planning Analyst in Col. Lecheria, Tultitlán Estado de México. This position is a hybrid role.

The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing the accounting, sales, and operational information to prepare and submit financial reports to Corporate Finance and Local Management on a timely basis according to Corporate deadlines. Financial reports include 20 liner, forecast, IOP, flash report, and any other as requested. Analyses the profitability of customers in order to request to set them up in Customers Master Data.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Public Accountant, Bachelor degree in Finance or Bachelor degree in Business Administration.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of experience as full time employee in Financial Planning areas or preparing and analyzing forecast and budget in multinational companies.Solid analytical skillsAble to communicate fluently in EnglishAdvanced Excel skills, mainly dynamic tables, formulas, massive handling of data to design reports, etc).Knowledge on Visual Basic is a plusExperience working with an ERP system, SAP is a plus

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

Analyze the monthly results of the operation, TOE or SG&A, sales, margin and EBITDA by gathering information and comments from the different areas on the deviations actual vs forecast, vs budget and vs prior year.Monitor that the Gross Margin and Profit are aligned to the strategy of the company through the analysis of the results generated by the normal operations of the business along with the General Manager proposed and executed preventive/ corrective actions.Gathers information from all the company areas to file the IOP files, analyzes price-volume and any variation to confirm the data base of the budget is accurate and reasonable.  Keeps control of all advanced and or down payments from customers to deduct them from sales reported in Qlik View to comply with revenue recognition rules and tax regulations.  Evaluates profitability of potential new customers before requesting to set them up in the Customer Master Data.  Additionally, reviews all document to be sent to the AR Insurance Company for credit analysis.Responsible for the monthly forecast process: reports, meetings to analyze information to ensure accuracy in the information reported to Corporate FinancePerform other duties as assigned.

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of   temperature and noise level.

Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.

A frequent high volume of work and tight deadlines impose strain on routine basis. 

Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 5 Kgs.
