Financial Planning Analyst

Compensation: $67,900 - $88,300

Summary

Manages the development, design, execution, and analysis of the process of evaluating whether the company’s current assets and investments are the best use of the company excess working capital.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Assist FP&A Manager in preparing monthly forecasts/identification/reporting on relevant metrics to gauge performance. Includes determining the relative importance (impact) of the drivers of the business and recommendations (actionable items) that should be taken by the management in order to meet or exceed goals. Develop reports for senior management on periodic results (Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly) which provide analysis of variances along with explanations and recommended actions to senior management and other members of the team. Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis Assist in the continuing development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, Gaming performance, F&B pricing, as well as new projects Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis Prepare presentations to Tribal Council and Senior Management Team

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills required. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized. Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated Analytical mindset with problem solving skills Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

Education and/or Experience

Five (5) years’ experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent with strong background utilizing multiple databases and business intelligence/reporting tools to manage data and reports; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
