The role will be reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Operations (F&O) of Novo Nordisk Oceania.

 

The position
As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will be a people manager and create value as a true finance business partner to key stakeholders, as well as with the business. Other role expectations are as follows but is not limited to:

Lead the FP&A function and team members to become an integral part of the commercial business and a close sparring partner to the full affiliate management team. Act as a key driver of the financial planning processes including responsibility of coordinating, preparing, consolidating, validating, challenging and analysing input, participation in budget meetings with management and region Ongoing monitoring and analysis of the total Oceania financial business performance as well as proactively to propose / initiate and follow-up on appropriate corrective actions to ensure targets are met. In-charge of all internal monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including MMR, Performance updates, monthly budget follow up with Line of Business. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to drive ROI and strong resource allocation across the business. Drive, as well as participate in cross functional projects within F&O (local and region APAC) and as finance partner supporting cross functional commercial and/or special projects beyond F&O. You are also expected to be a systems expert in with regards to SAP BW, Excel, and other digital BI tools.

 

Qualifications

Must possess at least a master degree or equivalent level in business, finance or economics. Must have a minimum of 7-8 years of experience within financial planning roles, including ownership of planning processes and senior stakeholder management. Minimum of 3 years of people management experience is also expected. Strong background in ERP tools, understanding of accounting principles, and extensive experience with analytical tasks. Mastery of numbers, business reporting, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in ERP and data warehouse systems. Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with fluency in English at a business level.
