Position: Financial Manager
Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Hire Resolve’s client s a leading organization in the legal technology industry. With their strong foothold in the market, they are committed to delivering exceptional service and results to our clients. They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Cape Town. The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the financial operations and reporting for our company. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively analyze financial data, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and monitoring financial performance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, analyzing results and providing insights to senior management. Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize internal controls and compliance. Collaborate with other departments to develop and manage financial models and forecasts, supporting strategic decision-making. Manage cash flow, implementing effective cash management strategies and forecasting future cash needs. Monitor and report on financial performance indicators, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements. Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and minimizing tax liabilities. Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring ongoing compliance and recommending adjustments as necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to accurately interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Benefits:

Salary: R480K/yr – R500K/yr, negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
