Financial Manager
Minimum requirements:
Matric Financial Management degree  Proven 15 Years experience as a Financial and Human Resources Manager Proficient use of financial software (Pastel Partner, Pastel Evolution and Payspace) Developing and implementing Human Resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall company strategy Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports and assessing the financial health of the company Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures Manage the preparation of the company’s annual budget. Supervise the preparation of monthly account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with statutory and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting Advise executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts Monitor and review all records of company assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions Liaise with the company auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of the company finances is maintained Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities
