We’re partnering with a well-established business in the FMCG industry to find a highly capable Financial Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, reporting-heavy environment. If you have a passion for financial reporting, love staying sharp on IFRS developments, and enjoy driving digital solutions, this role is for you.

This is a position for someone who wants to own the reporting function, contribute meaningfully to process improvements, and be part of a business that values structure, accuracy, and strong financial governance. You'll get to work alongside a highly experienced finance leader, with opportunities to drive change and elevate the finance function.

You’ll be working closely with the Head of Finance and overseeing various accounting operations with a strong focus on AFS reporting, compliance, and system optimisation. Your day-to-day will include:

Responsibilities:

Owning and delivering accurate monthly and quarterly reporting in line with IFRS Preparing quarterly board packs and financial statements for submission to head office Supporting the half-year and year-end audit processes Budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing cash flow monitoring Managing a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities Leading a small finance team and driving continuous improvement Collaborating with internal and external auditors Driving systems improvements and digital reporting initiatives Overseeing general ledger, VAT, taxation, fixed assets, and forex exposure

Requirements:

CA(SA) or BCom with 5–10 years’ post-article experience Experience in financial reporting and AFS preparation (listed company exposure is a bonus) Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (Syspro experience is advantageous) Strong understanding of tax legislation and internal controls Leadership experience in a finance team (mentoring, performance management, KPI setting)
