WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

Your objective will be to support the coordination, guidance and supervision of the Financial and Capital Management activity of several units of the SCF group, and you will also be responsible for the projects (in aspects related to Financial and Capital Management).

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

To coordinate all the Financial Management activities corresponding to the assigned units/JVs: you will help us achieve the Financial Management objectives in the units, coordinating with the teams of SCF HQ and Group, and establishing direct and fluid communication channels with local CFOs. And in case of the JVs ensuring alignment with the counterparties on the partners’ side.To guide and supervise the management of structural risks carried out by units: Interest rate, liquidity and funding risks, ensuring compliance with the guidance established in HQ (eg in Global ALCO).Monitoring and support for the achievement of the Capital Contribution Objectives of the units, and participation in development of capital optimization initiatives.Analysis of the evolution of the financial expenses of each unit by sources of financing and price. Study of deviations against budgets.Representation of HQ Financial Management in the ALCOs of the units as well as in other relevant forums.Proposal and monitoring of the implementation of initiatives to improve the financial margin over the budgeted or depending on the specific situation of interest rates, liquidity or capital.To follow-up and propose to improve the profitability of the different products and business proposals within the units.Preparation of medium-term financial plans, budgets, defining guidelines and analyzing the proposals of the units for subsequent validation.Execution of projects and new agreements: you will contribute (in aspects related to Financial Management) to the execution of projects and to the structuring of new agreements (e.g. inorganic growth projects and initiatives, internal, regulatory and organizational developments, etc.), participating in the work teams and ensuring alignment in aspects of financial and capital management with the guidelines of the division, of the Group, and of the units.

EXPERIENCE

Experience of around 7-8 years in banking, in functions with financial content (capital management, balance sheet management, management control, treasury, financial risks...)

EDUCATION

University Degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management or similar.Postgraduate studies in Finance

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of Financial Management and accounting, fluency in use of Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint, etcFluency in English (equivalent to C1 or higher). French and Spanish will be highly valued.Strong analytical communication and persuasion skills, client orientation and business focus, ability to engage and lead initiatives and interact with senior management.We are looking for a person with initiative, proactivity, assertiveness and enthusiasm, with attention to detail, able to build relationships with counterparts and managers, with capacity to maintain effective dialogue at diverse levels, and with strong abilities to work within a team.
