Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Cost Accounting Division, Accounting Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will perform financial closing, reconciliations and reporting. You will identify, record, and value capital investment projects. You will reconcile and report capital work in progress and perform evaluation of assets. You will set up asset records in the accounting system, including asset descriptions, cost details and depreciation schedules, to ensure accurate posting to the general ledger. You will coordinate implementation of operational changes necessary to bring operations into a ready state. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying a strong understanding of accounting principles related to assets accounting; 2) Developing and executing internal control procedures to evaluate financial operation effectiveness and providing feedback; 3) Collaborating within and outside of the organization to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across financial operations; 4) Working independently and as part of a team.
