FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. Responsibilities You will assess risks and deficiencies in business processes to ensure audit readiness. You will review budgetary and financial documentation for accuracy you will use financial software (e.g., spreadsheets, pivot tables, reports, charts) to control resources or funds Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:. 1.Compare financial execution data from SABRS and CFMS and identify transaction misalignments. Research and perform analysis on corrective actions need to balance the two systems; 2) Receive invoices in mail, check SABRS for funding obligation, prepare for payment and submit invoices to CNIC for certification. Work with Regional Program Managers to resolve discrepancies; 3) Prepare DD1131 cash collection vouchers, identify and prepare SF1081 transactions to move funding between appropriation accounts; 4) Analyze financial transaction status for Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DARQ) samples and identify appropriate reason and status codes GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:. 1.Pull suspense listings from Command Financial Management System (CFMS) COGNOS and Standardized Accounting, Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS). 2) Research root cause for accounting transaction discrepancies, identify corrective action and complete in SABRS; 3) Pull Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DARQ) reports from CFMS COGNOS and CFMS TVR module and analyze financial transaction status for the samples; 4) Receive cash/checks from outside parties, track on log and provide to cash custodian for safekeeping.
