Role/Responsibilities:

We are hiring a Director of Product Strategy - Financial Institutions product, within the MoodysView team at Moody’s Analytics. The person will be a key member of our product organization. Our team has a singular focus on delivering client-driven digital products that anticipate and address rapidly evolving user needs.

The Director of Product Strategy will be responsible for managing the Financial Institutions content in MoodysView, the flagship product of Moodys.com, and growing the associated business. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong knowledge and expertise in risk management around Financial Institutions and product management to oversee the Financial Institutions MoodysView business day-to-day. The individual will work in a senior capacity, partnering with stakeholders from across Moody’s to deliver against the objectives for the business. This will include defining the strategic roadmap for the business segment, and identifying opportunities to enhance and expand the content, features, and capabilities of our core products to address the complex and evolving risk assessment needs of our customers. Your role will include thoroughly understanding the market segment and identifying ways of delivering additional value to meet client needs through market research, client data analysis, user research, and regular interactions with salespeople, clients and other stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Providing leadership and vision in developing strategies to grow revenues and manage expenses for Financial Institutions content offerings, leading on high profile projects and managing & overseeing activities within the teamDriving all aspects of content offerings, including new and enhanced features, pricing, packaging, value proposition and go to market strategyWork with a range of stakeholders to drive product strategy agenda, develop business cases, and define product requirements and collaborate closely with product management teams to execute on the requirements. Owning market research, including market surveillance, competitive intelligence, and market sizingMaintaining annual sales forecasts and business plans and monitoring sales and business performanceEstablishing targeted outcomes and KPIs to validate and refine strategic directionCreating business cases and supporting financial models to inform product strategy decisions that align with strategic imperativesDefining client personas and workflows served by our productsMonitoring product performance analytics to identify trends and areas of opportunityIdentifying and prioritizing strategic initiatives to serve customers and drive strategic outcomesSupporting client and sales inquiries, attending sales meetings to drive renewal conversations, and escalating issues as needed

Qualifications & Attributes:

Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field7+ years' experience in financial services industry; strong preference on past experience in Asset Management industry 5+ years' experience in a client-facing, consulting, or analytical role, preferably with some practitioner experience focusing on banking or financial institutionsExceptional communication, presentation, and written skillsStrong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skillsWillingness to learn new concepts and technologiesYou are client-obsessed and use personas and client feedback to inform the products you bring to marketYou have a strong grasp of agile methodologies and have experience refining your way of working through retrospectives and review of product KPIsYou are creative and can think outside of current constraints to find innovative solutionsYou are a collaborator and can build strong relationships to bring others along in your journeyYou are a passionate team member who is excited by challenges and actively participates in ideationYou are curious and know that it’s more important to understand the questions to ask than to have all the answers

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $169,800 - $246,150, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
