Financial Business Analyst

Our client, is seeking a Financial Business Associate to join their team. As a Financial Business Analyst, you will be part of the Business Operations under Accounting supporting the Security and Mobile business unit. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer service orientation, and a hands-on problem-solving approach which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Financial Business Analyst
**Location:** Durham, NC
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor key customer accounts to secure payment for past due invoices.
+ Communicate with sales and credit teams regarding results of credit reviews for potential customers.
+ Identify significant accounts receivable balances to collect on and proactively connect with customers for timely payments.
+ Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly closing process.
+ Perform metrics analysis for collections, benchmarking, and accounts receivable trend analysis.
**What's Needed?**
+ 3-4 years of collection or accounting experience in a software industry preferred.
+ Experience with contacting clients regarding their payments strongly preferred.
+ Familiarity with applying customer cash payments to related invoices preferred.
+ Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems like NetSuite and Salesforce.com preferred.
