Financial Analyst Senior

The Financial Analyst Senior responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data as well as preparing reports, models, presentations and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders. Working under minimal supervision, this job collaborates regularly with project managers, operational leaders, and finance teams, supports complex projects, and delivers results that have a significant impact on operational achievement.
Ensures the accuracy of financial reporting, analyzes and interprets financial results for multiple divisions, and provides recommendations to divisional finance leaders for strategic decision making.
Develops new tools to meet customer and departmental needs.
Provides recommendations that enhance net revenue or provide opportunity to improve expense utilization.
Develops system procedures, documents standards, maintains records, and reconciles all calculations and data to the general ledger and other financial records in a timely manner.
Maintains advanced knowledge of the financial computer systems and serves as a resource to others in their understanding of the reporting from these systems.
Pursues automated processes to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value added tasks.
Supports the continuous improvement process by developing pro formats, schedules, analyses and recommendations necessary for leaders to make decisions to meet organizational goals.
Educates end users on financial software and financial concepts through one on one and small and large group classroom training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Required: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE:Required: 5+ Years
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required: Department/role specific certification may be required. Required certification programs may include HFMA CHFP, CPA, or other certification programs defined by the department leader
