Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $129,800

This position involves leading and consolidating financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the Global Manufacturing & Quality (M&Q) organization. Responsibilities include supporting areas like Global Quality, Corporate Engineering, and M&Q Tech@Lilly, supervising Business Unit Cost of Product Sold planning processes, and analyzing company gross margins. The position also handles M&Q consolidated planning and provides financial support for manufacturing global services functions. It requires strong influence across sites and functions to offer guidance, analyze results, resolve issues, and implement changes, influencing management and senior leadership to meet goals. This position must anticipate global issues and drive resolution, while actively contributing in projects and providing inputs to influence outcomes. Additionally, it includes financial controllership duties to ensure accurate accounting and controls while advising business partners.

Key Responsibilities:Consolidate Global M&Q management reports, forecasts, and plans delivering timely insights to leadership. Create review materials for leadership in manufacturing and the Corporate Financial Planning teamPartner directly with manufacturing sites to support deliverables and resolve issues, while providing a corporate perspective to ensure optimal resultsExplain drivers of the consolidated M&Q results compared to forecast and present to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) and Corporate Financial PlanningAnalyze site and affiliate inventory losses to monitor root causes, understand trends, and review with finance leadershipDefine and direct the activities of the manufacturing global services functions (Finance, HR, and Tech@Lilly), supporting them to achieve planning, forecasting and reporting resultsServe as the primary point of contact and lead/coordinate activities for these functions, including liaising with the manufacturing sites globallyProvide direct planning/forecasting and accounting support to M&Q Global Tech@Lilly team as the key business partnerDesign processes, define approaches and deliverables for business plan, forecast, strategic plan, and actual resultsCommunicate objectives, processes and approaches to achieve resultsUnderstand business drivers for functions and report results to the M&Q CFO and HR leaderBuild strong relationships with business partners and leadership to have a robust understanding of the business model, strategies and challenges, to better anticipate problems, find opportunities, and offer solutions and insightsApply strong analytics to complex problems to make recommendations and influence decision-makingEnsure appropriate accounting and provide appropriate accounting direction on matters such as capital, liabilities, and prepaid assets; provide training to business partners to ensure accuracyOwn Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) controls related to key areas of responsibility and support requests from internal and external auditorsCollaborate with central finance teams and management reporting team to deliver corporate requests and address and resolve issues on behalf of the manufacturing finance team.Support global manufacturing finance projects such as trend analysis, innovation/automation initiatives, management reporting initiatives and other strategic analysis

Basic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or similar subject areaMinimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, financial planning, forecasting and reporting related roleQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
