Team Description
The Corporate FP&A team is responsible for the monthly close, forecasting and yearly budgeting (Plan) of our Corporate Staff groups. As part of our team, you will be in charge of the monthly close tasks, such as journal entry production, accruals, reclasses, etc. and analysis of the results for each of the teams we support, as well as their annual planning, monthly forecasting and ad-hoc requests. You will have the opportunity to interact with broad and diverse teams such as Finance, Facilities, Accounting, Tax, Audit, and their respective sub-teams, amongst others, at all levels, including our Executive Leadership.
Examples of role responsibilities would include but not limited to:
Improve financial forecast by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to senior analysts and managers; perform financial analysis and accounting functions such as budget, spend, and forecast analysis using large amounts of data.Prepare and analyze balances to create ad hoc presentations and/or accounting support such as accruals, journal entries, etc.Assist in the creation of Customer and Product P&L statements and dashboards, tools, etc.Experience in mining/cleaning/organizing and streamlining vast data stores and uncovering insights in preparation for presentation to Sabre executive team.Demonstrate the ability to compile data from various sources and reconcile reporting between multiple data sets and tables. For example, coordinate and reconcile financial information with sales and billing teams including identification, research and resolution.Coordinate, analyze and deliver on our yearly budget planning, monthly forecasting, month-over-month reporting, etc.Job Requirements
Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent is requiredBachelor’s degree, equivalent course work or equivalent experience in a Finance/FP&A role,.Minimum 2 years of Finance experience, with Budget and Forecast experience preferred.Proficient computer software skills, with strong knowledge of Excel and SAP experience are highly desirable. Knowledge of Sabre billing systems and processes will be considered a plus.Previous experience with QlikView or QlikSense dashboards development will be considered a plus.Previous experience with tools such as Essbase, Adaptive and HFM will be considered a plus. Ability to interface with all levels of personnel confidently.Attention to detail and ability to keep a dynamic pace of work.Can handle workload effectively and meet aggressive deadlines.Can use procedures and good judgment when working individually.Candidate must be detail oriented and accurate with good mathematical, analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent follow-up/research skills.Organizational skills and prioritization are key to the role.Self-motivation, engagement and drive for results are highly valued.Willingness to work in a team environment and contribute to build the best working environment with a positive attitude.Benefits
