Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Communications is hiring a Financial Analyst II. The Financial Analyst II will support the Residential Marketing Team, articulating efficiency and effectiveness of both media and BAU expenses. This is a great role for someone who is interested in learning more about the Marketing business and how our spend ultimately helps drive customer connects (top of funnel).
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Partner with amazing clients – collaborate on exciting new Marketing strategies to help support, influence, and drive strong business decisioning
Get exposure to several different areas in the Marketing portfolio (Working Media, Events & Sponsorships, Market Expansion, Fiber, and more)
Develop business cases and advanced financial/scenario analysis to provide forward-looking perspectives and financial alternatives, create R&O management, partner with the Planning COE to develop narratives, and help identify/influence operational efficiencies
Provide the Marketing organization financial decision support in pursuit of their strategies and objectives
Ability to interact/present to all levels of the organization

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in related discipline with 2+ years of business experience and a strong focus in financial analysis and case modeling. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 1+ year of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 6+ years of experience.
Ability to collect, clean, analyze and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and trends to provide recommendations for business decisions for stakeholders.
Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
Strong communication skills. Ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and explain financials to various audiences.
Ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization.
Advanced Excel skills (including financial functions, formulas, shortcuts, pivot tables, lookups, charting/graphing) and command of PowerPoint (design, formatting, charting/graphing).
Experience with OneStream, Tableau, PowerBI and other data management platforms is a strong plus.
