Basic Job Functions:

The Financial Analyst at Vulcraft Alabama, a division of Nucor Corporation, is responsible for providing valuable financial insights and support to the division. This role involves working with financial systems, analyzing data, and assisting in the generation of financial reports and statements. The Financial Analyst will collaborate across various teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. This position will conduct significant ad hoc projects or tasks as required. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor, and candidates must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining safety policies and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

2 years of experience working with financial systems. Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, or a related field. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to design and create financial reports, statements, and dashboards. Knowledge of financial database standards and end-user applications. Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience with Microsoft Power BI. Experience with SAP ERP systems.
