 United Health Services is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join our Physician Financial Svcs department at Vestal 3.0 in Vestal, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$20.50 - $29.62 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

The Financial Analyst I position will support the Physician Practice Services by preparing all calculations related to physician and Advanced Practice Provider compensation, inclusive of base compensation, stipends, incentive payments, and administrative or clinical special payments.

Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries specific to provider compensation
Assure all providers are paid appropriately and accurately based on their employment contracts.
- Responsible for the submission of all physician provider payroll data to the appropriate departments for the processing of payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
- Prepare provider specific compensation analysis when needed.
- Maintain and analyze various reports related to provider statistics. Work with Operations on any inconsistencies.
- Assist in special projects and activities as assigned
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Manager of Physician Financial Services and the Senior Director of Physician and Post-Acute Care Services

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare or similar

Preferred:

1 – 3 years of relevant Healthcare or analytical experienceExperience utilizing Strata Decision Technology reporting and financial softwareEpic EMR experience


License/Certification
