Scope and Responsibilities:

Monitor, review, and report on trends and patterns of revenue and expenses within Acrisure’s Partners.  This FP&A position will collaborate with FP&A leadership, operational leaders and budget owners

Effectively communicate the trends and patterns of expenses to various levels of management within FP&A and operational leadership

Support the budgeting/planning, re-forecasting, and outlook processes across various stakeholders

Prepare detailed analysis and complementary presentations to communicate actual results as compared to budget and re-forecast(s)

Build relationships and collaborate with business partners to create or enhance process guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

System Development – Integrate financial forecast into Adaptive system, leveraging existing data sets to enhance user experience and limit manual intervention

Data Connectivity – Leverage existing data sets and connect into adaptive to ensure detailed and automate modeling

Training and Execution – Develop and execute trainings on processes and support tool utilization and process execution to ensure timely and accurate forecasting

Model Development – Partner with operational and finance leaders to develop and document consistent financial model for forecasting across the enterprise

Scenario maintenance – Own multiple scenarios and time frames of forecasting for different audiences and stakeholders

Dashboard Development – Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and other tools to support real time and self-service reporting, ensuring accurate content and utilization

Data availability, consistency and documentation – Partner cross functionally to ensure consistent data availability and utilization to enable visualization and reporting tools

Qualifications:

Prior experience with forecasting and/or reporting system preferred

Prior experience developing forecasting framework preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) preferred

Prior experience with insurance strongly preferred

Years of prior experience may influence level of analyst role

Effective written and verbal skills, used to perform detailed analysis and prepare presentations

Strong interpersonal skills with business, financial, and operational acumen

A desire and passion to continuously improve finance deliverables

Build and maintain trust and work with confidential data and projects with discretion and professionalism

Positive attitude, desire to learn, self-motivated and effective team player

Technical Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Demonstrated strong proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams 

Technical agility and desired knowledge of financial reporting systems and tools, e.g. Workday ERP

Ability to work between multiple best-in-class cloud-based solutions
