The Headlines:
In the role of Financial Analyst, CoMan/CoPack based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will provide finance support related to the Co-Manufacturing and Co-Packing business and be a key liaison to the Operations Finance team to clearly communicate performance drivers and variance analysis as well as financial forecast to internal and external stakeholders
The position reports to the Manager, Operations Finance – Product Costing and will work closely with our Procurement team, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Customer Supply Chain team, and Commercial/Innovation Finance.
The Responsibilities:
Explain monthly results, provide key insights for full year forecast and challenge monthly results as well as corresponding LE. Communicate financial forecast to internal and external stakeholders, working closely with the supply chain finance team to drive forecast accuracy and R&O process. Act as the financial point of contact for CoMan/CoPack and build relationships with stakeholders. Continually improve, streamline and standardize processes, reducing non-value-added activities and seek opportunities to leverage SAP/BOBJ to minimize manual processes. Validate and track performance on CoMan/CoPack activity and use financial expertise to identify new savings opportunities. Lead Annual Operating Plan process for CoMan/CoPack cost centers including coordinating meetings with stakeholders, setting standard variable costs, and forecasting deviations. Drive efficiencies in reporting and transactional work and to continue to expand the role.
The Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or another relative 4-year degree; in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience 2+ years of progressive corporate finance experience and strong Excel skills; SAP/Business Objects experience is preferred You possess a solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls You have a solid understanding of manufacturing operations You have very strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a sense of urgency in resolving issues. You serve as a visible change agent and a transformational leader You demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and collaboration skills and can work with many different personalities, experience, and job levels, and can influence without formal authority. You are detail oriented with critical focus on producing quality results while demonstrating effective influence and collaboration without formal authority
