Financial Analyst (budget, capital, opex)

JOB SCOPE
This position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring budgets, re-forecasting, and analysis of operating expenses. Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs analysis to determine present and future financial performance.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide business financial analysis and support for business leaders to include: Input, review, and approve ARs (Authorization requests/Capital Project Requests) and Purchase Orders to ensure they are accurate, complete and within budgetDetermine expense type (Capital versus Operating Expense)Work within SAP and other accounting systems to ensure accurate recording of project costCreate reports to support workflow management to provide visibility and timely resultsProvide timely input for the month end close process, ensuring that accruals are accurate and completeAssist with variance and operational analysisCompile, analyze, interpret, and present data related to current and future operationsCreate reports, charts, graphs and presentations to aid in efficient and effective business operationsAssist with forecast models using Microsoft Excel, Smartview/Hyperion applications as neededTranslates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the Network Operation's organization and manages changes to such specificationsFacilitate communication and gain commitment between business unit(s) and network operations business planning function from the initial requirements to the final implementationWork with business stakeholders to analyze business operations and recommend solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goals providing process documentation as neededUnderstand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and recommend solutions to improve general business processes and planningAnalyze data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis as neededMay make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technologyPerform other duties as requested

BASIC / MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldMinimum of two (2) years of Business analysis or related experience

Able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment and handle multiple projects and priorities Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyAble to analyze and interpret dataAbility to quickly identify business problems/opportunitiesAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to communicate with all levels of management and company personnelAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyExcellent knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
