Financial Analyst - Corporate Treasury

Do you want to be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team with responsibility for managing Novo Nordisk’s liquidity and financial risks at group level? We are looking for a curious and highly motivated finance talent to help us solve the real world financial problems of a global Treasury organisation.

 

The position

You are offered an exciting opportunity to develop your competencies in a professional and dynamic organisation. On a daily basis you will be collaborating closely with colleagues across Corporate Treasury and Finance colleagues across the globe. Tasks will vary in nature, both in terms of content and duration, but you will among other things:

 

Manage Novo Nordisk’s liquidity and short-term financing Mitigate exchange rate risks through hedging Support decisions related to the capital structure of the group Conduct financial analysis to senior management.

 

This means that you will follow developments in financial markets, be in frequent contact with our international banks and trade on behalf of Novo Nordisk. Due to the importance of the financial risk management activities you will also interact frequently with internal stakeholders.


It is very important for us to continuously develop our employees to take on increased responsibilities. We invest in growing our employees through close sparring and by giving a high degree of responsibility in solving developing tasks.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Master’s degree in Economics or Finance and excellent results. Consideration for initially part-time student positions is possible for those graduating this summer. 0-3 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury. Natural user of technology with strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complexities in both written and spoken English. Curious and collaborative by nature with a positive attitude towards challenges, capable of handling different priorities simultaneously while maintaining a good sense of humour. Open to rotation and development across Corporate Treasury and potentially for Treasury positions outside of Denmark.

 

About the department

You will be part of the Corporate Financial Risk department which is responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s financial risks at group level. We are 6 dedicated and highly skilled professionals located in our headquarters in Bagsværd, DK.

 

The department is part of a fun, globally oriented Corporate Treasury which is also responsible for handling financial risks in affiliates and handling of Novo Nordisk’s insurance programs.
